Engr. Patrick Nzekwe is Clarke Energy Nigeria’s General Manager and Executive Director. He has over 30 years engineering experience in the Brewery, Energy and Power Industry. Patrick started his career in Nigeria as a Mechanical Shift Engineer with SCOA Nigeria Plc and later joined Guinness Nigeria Plc, a subsidiary of Diageo International in 1980.  He worked his way up the ladder to become a Corporate Project Manager where he completed many high profile projects including the introduction of Natural Gas as a utilities fuel for industries in Lagos in liaison with Gaslink Nigeria Limited in the year 2000. He later became a Chief Engineer at different times both in Lagos and Benin Plants. He later became a General Manager of the Benin plant. Patrick retired from Guinness in 2006 after 26 years of meritorious service.  He later joined Clarke Energy in 2007 as a pioneer staff where he has led the company to deliver almost 400MW in natural gas captive power installations for various blue chip manufacturing and industrial companies using Natural Gas as a fuel source, one of the first in this area. These installations are set up across the south west and south east of Nigeria and as far north of the country as Ajaokuta in Kogi State.  He read Mechanical Engineering in the United Kingdom, obtained an Advanced Diploma in Management and is a Fellow of British Institute of Management UK and a COREN registered member Nigerian Society of Engineers. He is also a trained and qualified Marine Engineer.
