The Africa Renewable Energy Forum (ARF)

Marrakech |30th November - 01st December 2017

EnergyNet is pleased to announce that the annual Africa Renewable Energy Forum (ARF) will return to Marrakech from 30th November-1st December 2017 at the Four Seasons Resort Hotel. Following the first Africa Renewable Energy Forum in November 2016, this meeting will once again bring together the public and private sector to drive forward the development of renewable energy projects across the continent.
At last year’s Forum we addressed the opportunity for Africa on the global renewable energy development stage and discussed climate resilience strategies for sustainable energy development to meet the climate change requirements in the context of COP22. This year we will explore practical solutions on clean project financing, climate-smart solutions and innovative community-owned projects.
What was said on Morocco at the Africa Energy Forum 2017
"Morocco is very competitive to get into. Clients are fighting to get in" Jason Parker, Of Counsel, Winston & Strawn
"Morocco's goal of 52% renewables by 2030 depends on industry customers and offtakers for bilateral PPAs", John Sachs from Tetra Tech
