Global Nexus is a Moroccan management company approved by the Ministry of Finance whose mission is to structure private equity investment funds. Global Nexus is active in the nexus between energy, water and agriculture sectors. Global Nexus aims to have positive environmental, economic and social impact through its investments. In this frame, Global Nexus has put in place Global Nexus Fund, alongside with Temporis Global Nexus Fund as a result of a joint venture with Temporis Capital, renewable energies dedicated fund, from London. The first one is an “OPCR” approved by the CDVM (Moroccan Market Authority) and will channel Moroccan institutional investors, while the second one will channel international investors. Both aim to co-invest in renewable energies opportunities in Morocco. Both funds aim a target size of 250 millions EUR to be channeled exclusively to Moroccan renewable energy projects.
Agence Française de Développement (AFD), a public financial institution that implements the policy defined by the French Government, works to combat poverty and promote sustainable development. AFD operates on four continents via a network of 75 offices and finances and supports projects that improve living conditions for populations, boost economic growth and protect the planet. In 2015, AFD earmarked EUR 8.3bn to finance projects in developing countries and for overseas France.
Created in 2010, the Energy Investments Company (SIE) is the reference operator and investor Morocco in the energy sector and more specially in renewable energies and energy efficiency. SIE’s missions are as follow:
· Development of the medium voltage network, essentially via photovoltaic generated energy (distributed mini power plants) and small hydraulic
· Catalyzing investments in the sector of energy efficiency (public buildings, public lighting and industry)

Uganda National Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Alliance (UNREEEA) is an umbrella with a network of over 360 member companies and enterprises in the biomass, hydro, solar and energy efficiency sub-sectors of Uganda.
