Since July 2004, Songas has been a key provider of essential electricity to the people of Tanzania. By utilizing the country’s own natural gas resources, the Songas facility continues to supply the most affordable energy to the region and provides a clean alternative source of generation. With Tanzania’s growing demand for electricity, Songas understands the need to initiate and support commercial generation projects. Working closely with the key sector players, the company is pursuing further opportunities to continue development of Tanzania’s power sector.
